Umbraco website built for the Reading Maiden Erlegh Rotary club who run Reading's largest annual Art Exhibition.
As Chris recently became a member of The Reading Maiden Erlegh Rotary club he offered to build a new website for "The Reading Art Exhibition" which is an annual art exhibition run by the Rotary club.
The previous website was built by club members who did not have a web design and development background, which could easily be seen from the design, it had fit the purpose in previous years.
As the exhibition has grown in popularity it was felt that the website really needed a new look to reflect it's growing size and importance in Reading as the largest annual Art exhibition.
Vizioz worked with Little Big Ideas to provide a fresh new logo and look and feel to the Reading Art Exhibition website.
The new design incorporated a common header section to allow the site to put across the core message on each page, followed by an easy to edit main content area.
The site was built on top of the Umbraco CMS platform to enable the club members to easily keep the site up to date.
The new Umbraco website has enabled the members of the Rotary club to easily update the Reading Art Exhibition website as new information has become available through the year.
The Rotary members have really enjoyed the flexibility built into the site by Vizioz which has allowed them to manage the site without any additional development requirements.
